The main Goal of our Research and Development department at Venta is to inspire a new generation of super-efficient vehicles and technologies that will help break our addiction to oil and ease the effects of climate change.
We're not backing one technology or the other. It is our belief that something has to take oil's place as the chief energy source for the transportation sector -- the sooner the better - and that it needs to be a clean, renewable energy source. However, we see the long-term R&D effort of our company focused on the electric car, that's where the real strategic efforts are! Be believe that automobile manufacturers are not going to be able to afford to keep investing in all these different technologies.
Venta is also looking for opportunities to be involved in battery development ventures aimed at perfecting the lithium-ion and other types of batteries.
